50 Cent starts a new record label

G-Note Records will be a subsidiary record label of 50 Cent's ever expanding G-Unit Records. The label was formed in late 2010 for Pop, Dance and R&B artists. The offices for the label are based in New York

         In late 2011 it was reported that 50 Cent has signed Miss Gamuchirai, previously known as Gamu Nhengu, to G-Note Records after her appearing on the X Factor in the UK. A statement was released and said this about her signing to the label, 'It is believed that many labels have been interested in signing Gamu but G-Note offered the best deal and are best connected to make her dreams reality'.
